Onboarding Hub - Step 21 and 22 Transport Integrations
Transport Integrations (EDI + API)
This article provides a list of common integrations previously requested and implemented for Transvirtual account holders.
How To
EDI Integration
EDI integrations, which use Transvirtual’s Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) import/export framework, require assistance from the Transvirtual Integrations team.
- The platform requiring integration (system and company) and whether this party is the account customer or agent/carrier - i.e. customer "Bob's Burgers" using system Machship.
- Contact email and phone number for an IT team member from the external system - i.e. Tommy the lead Integrations tech at Machship
- Any relevant account codes, prefixes, keys, or other applicable information - i.e. customer "Bob's Burgers" has an account code of 123abc

API Integration
API integrations can be configured without assistance from Transvirtual, as long as the external system does not require return data (such as PODs, status updates, or scans). Should the external party require this return data, please email
integrations@transvirtual.com for assistance.
For instructions on sending data to an account using the Transvirtual API, please

The Transvirtual API allows querying certain data, such as status updates, but has limitations. For more comprehensive return data to an external integration, please contact the Transvirtual Integrations team.
FAQs
Q: How long do integration setups take to complete?
The timeline for an integration depends on the complexity of the setup, the current workload of the Transvirtual Integrations team, and the responsiveness of the external integration partner. integrations@transvirtual.com.
Q: Can I request an integration even if Tv hasn't done it before?
Yes. If requesting an integration that is not listed in our documented integrations, please email
integrations@transvirtual.com with the relevant details, and the team will assist from there.
Q: Do Integrations cost money to get setup?
Yes. Integrations are charged at $300/hr in line with our
Support Policy. For further information, please reach out to the team and they will assist from there.
