Headports (Depots/Warehouses)
Setting up Your Headports
Headports define the areas your business services and the locations it operates from. They are used throughout the system for reporting and assigning staff to work locations.
How To
Navigate to Configuration > Lists and Zones > Zone List Directory
This area allows you to create Zone Lists, which group suburbs into defined zones
Your account will have a headport list preconfigured. You'll need to add content to it.
Add Zones to the List
Click the Headport zone list, then select Edit Zones/Suburbs.
You can add zones using either of these methods:
Method 1: Manual Creation
- Click New Zone
- Enter the zone name
- Click Save
The zone will appear on the left. Next, add suburbs or postcodes:
Option A: Add by Postcode
- Click the zone from the list
- Click Rules by Postcode
- Click New Rule
- Add postcodes individually or as a range
- All suburbs within those postcodes will be included in the zone
Option B: Add by Suburb
- Click the zone from the list
- Click Rules by Suburb
- Search for a suburb
- Right-click and select Add to Zone
- Repeat for each suburb
Method 2: CSV Import
- Click New Zone, then Import Zones
Prepare a CSV file with these columns:
- Zone Name
- Suburb
- Postcode
- State
- Each row should represent one unique suburb
- Click the import field and select your file
- Map each column to the corresponding field in the system
- If your file has column headers, set Ignore First Row to YES
- Click Import
The imported zones will appear in the system.

How Headports Are Used
Reporting
- Display profit and loss by zone
- Show shipment volumes per zone
- Filter data by geographic area
Staff Assignment
- Assign each staff member to their work location
- Track scan locations in the mobile app (scans are labeled with the staff member's assigned Headport)
- Improve tracking accuracy for customers
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use the Headports list for pricing zones?
Yes, but most accounts need more detailed zones for accurate pricing. Consider creating a separate zone list for pricing if:
- You need granular delivery areas
- Different customers have different service areas
- Pricing structures vary by location
