Allocate a Delivery To a Driver
Delivery Allocation via the Allocations Page
The workflow for allocating deliveries via the Allocations page follows the same process described in the Pickup Allocation help article.
Prerequisites: Before using this method, enable delivery allocation in your global settings:
- Navigate to Configuration > General > Global Setup > General Tab > Other
- Set the delivery allocation option to Yes
This converts the Pickup Allocation page into an Allocations page that supports deliveries as well as pickups.
Delivery Allocation via Load Scanning
This method is completed through the driver app.
- Open the Load page in the app
- Scan each freight item until all freight has been scanned
- Tap Leave Depot to start the run
Tapping Leave Depot moves all consignments to the Pickup & Deliver page in the app and generates a Runsheet in the portal, viewable under Runsheet Filter.
Delivery Allocation via Runsheet Creation
- Navigate to Transport > Operational Tasks > Runsheets > Create New
- Select the driver or agent to assign to the runsheet
- Enter the consignment number to assign to the selected driver or agent
- Confirm the consignment appears in the allocated list
- Adjust the run order by clicking and dragging rows into the desired position
- Click Release Runsheet to assign the jobs to the designated driver or agent
