Onboarding Hub - Step 24 Complete a Pickup

Complete a Pickup Using The Mobile App

This article explains how to complete a pickup via the mobile app.

How To

The first step in the process is assigning the pickup to a driver. Once assigned, the driver receives a notification in their app advising them of the new pickup:


The driver should click OK to acknowledge that they have seen the assigned job.
After acknowledgement, the pickup is displayed on the Pickup & Deliver page where it can then be actioned at any point in the run that the driver feels is appropriate.

To perform the pickup, navigate to the Pickup & Deliver page and click the parcel icon adjacent to the job:


Scan any items being collected for the consignment. While optional, this is strongly recommended as it provides additional tracking for customer notifications and helps identify missing items. For example, if 10 items are scanned at pickup but only 9 are scanned on return to the depot, this indicates an item was lost in transit.
Scanned items will be shown under the Scan tab:


Back under the Info tab, click I've Arrived at the bottom to navigate to the Pickup Signature page:

Alternatively, if an issue prevents the pickup from being completed, select Pickup Issue and choose the appropriate issue to mark the pickup as incomplete.
Within the Sign page obtain a signature from the sender and mark complete to finalize the pickup:
