Consignment Creation
This article will detail the different ways consignments can be created within Transvirtual.

How To
Consignment creation via Web Portal
To begin, navigate to the above Page URL which is located under Transport > Operational Tasks > Consignments > Create New:
To create a consignment, complete all required fields with the relevant information, then click Save:
A success message will appear at the top of the page upon consignment creation:
If certain fields are required by the account and are not filled during creation, an error will appear:
Consignment creation will need to be re-attempted ensuring the required fields are populated.

Consignment Creation via EDI Import
To begin, navigate to the above Page URL which is located under Import/Export > Data Import > Consignments:
This area allows the configuration of Consignment Import Rules, which define how external systems can send data into the Transvirtual account to create consignments.

Consignment Creation via API
For help on how to do this, please refer to the Transvirtual API help doc listed below:
This link can be provided to external customers who need to create consignments in an account via the API. They must have the customer name/code for the account they will use and be issued the Auth Token, available in the Transvirtual account under Configuration > General > Global Setup > General tab > API:
FAQs
Q: Can customers create consignments for any customer in my account?
No, customer users of an account are only able to see and create consignments for customer accounts they have been added to.
